That's right we're expecting a new edition to the family! Baby is due to arrive in early summer. You may recognize the room as our old guest bedroom. The guest bed has since moved into the office to make room for baby. Here's a look at what we've done with the nursery!

Well, we've reached peak tourist season here in Salem. Known foremost for its witches, Salem has become the go-to place for all things Halloween. While I love this town and this season, I have to point out that Salem is great to visit all year round not just in the month of October!
I recently finished up an end table using sanding and soft wax techniques. After finishing the project I realized that awhile ago I'd painted a similar end table in the same colors using dark wax and without sanding. I thought it'd be fun to do a little side-by-side to show off the different finishes.
Hey, all! Sorry for not posting in two weeks but we've been away on our honeymoon in Ireland! It was such an incredible trip and we can't wait to go back again some day. We drove around the country- making stops in Dublin, Connemara, Galway, and Cork among other places.
I am beyond excited to show off the before and after pictures of our kitchen! Our goal here was to give the kitchen a more stylish, country look. Although much of the kitchen was finished shortly after we moved in the back splash and grout work were just completed last week.
We have another chalk paint transformation on the blog for you today. Recently we installed a television in our office above the fireplace and I wanted to add a coffee table to this new area. I tracked this one down on Craigslist for $20 and decided to chalk paint it.
